OCTOBER PTO NEWS Thank YOU! Upcoming PTO Events PRINCIPAL APPRECIATION WEEK Thank you for participating in our PTO Discount Card Fundraiser! With your help, we’ve raised around $938 so far for our school! This will benefit our teachers and students tremendously this year! Show our principal how much you love her!!!!! Also support our Book Fair. Oct. 22nd – 29th Parent/Teacher Conference dates are: October 25th and 30th BOX TOPS are due next Wed. Oct. 10th! Please designate teacher. 1st place class will earn a party & Icees! 2nd place class will earn icees! We hope each of our Clifdale young ladies enjoyed theirselves at our “Mad Hatter Event” last week.  Be on the lookout after Christmas for info on our Boys’ night in February! Math Reminders New Words Calendar Reading This is a SUPER EASY way to help our school! On Monday, Oct. 29th, your child will bring home a postcard booklet with eleven postcards (1 for your family’s address + 10 for friends/family). We are asking you to fill out the postcards completely, and send in the booklet with your child within 2 school days. Each completed booklet earns $5.50 for our school ($0.50 per address). If only 100 participate, our school can earn $550!  Any address you use is SAFE! The address will receive the postcard you filled out with a brochure offering family magazines, music CDS, cookie mixes, cookbooks, and other home décor items, that’s all. Nothing else! No other junk mail! You, nor your family/friends are under any obligation to buy anything when you receive your postcard. You can mention this to your family/friends as well so they do not feel pressured to purchase. The addresses alone help our school earn easy money! Should you or your family/friends choose to order magazine subscriptions, etc… your child would earn a prize.  (sample postcard) THANK YOU, Clifdale parents, for ALL you do for our school!
