March Choice Board Activities Please complete TWO activities each week. Literacy Activities CVC Words Practice saying all the sounds in words. Ex. Sounds in the word map are /m/- /a/-/p/ Sight Words Read your sight words to someone. How many sight words can you read? ___________ Read a Book Read a book with someone. After you read, tell about the beginning, middle, and end. Writing Write about a time you felt lucky. Remember to use spaces between words, correct capitalization and punctuation. Math Activities Numbers 0-30 Practice writing numbers 0-30 in sand or shaving cream. Skip Counting Practice counting. How high can you count? ____________ Can you skip count by 5s and 10s? Adding Practice adding groups of things together to make a new number. Write a number bond (see below) for each problem you solved. Subtracting Use cereal or objects you have at home to practice subtracting. Ex. If you have 4 pieces of cereal and 2 pieces away how many pieces do you have left? Fine Motor & Life Sills Phone Number Tell someone your home phone number. Tell someone your parents’ cell phone numbers. LEGOS Create something with blocks or LEGOs. What did you create? What shapes did you make? Cooking Help an adult cook a meal. What did you cook? How did you help? Your Birthday Practice telling someone when your birthday is and how old you are.
