Hot off the Press: TOWN SURVEY First glimpse of the results
AIMS: To ensure PCP’s Projects reflect local priorities by sampling views from across the community 2) To find out how people feel about living and working in Prudhoe 3)To encourage more local people to get involved in work of Partnership and in the local community
How we conducted the survey: Size of local population & budget precluded household survey Therefore used a wide range of distribution methods including: on-line survey promoted through social media, handing out surveys at Co-op, Spetchells Centre, Distributing through local community groups At local events such as Town Fair Prize Draw to encourage participation Analysed by Community Action Northumberland to provide confidentiality Open from: 17th May to 17th June
138 households with 2 or less people, 71 with 3 - 5 people Survey responses: 233 Responses included 138 Women, 65 Men, 120 people of working age, 82 retired people, and 3 under 16 198 white people and 5 from other ethnic groups 138 households with 2 or less people, 71 with 3 - 5 people 135 people who have lived in Prudhoe for more than 20 years. 77 people who have lived in Prudhoe for less than 20 years 42 people who work in Prudhoe
