Malala’s advocacy has grown into an international movement Biography Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani education advocate who became the youngest person to win the nobel peace prize After surviving the assassination attempt by the Taliban, she became an advocate for girls’ education Malala’s advocacy has grown into an international movement According to former Pakistani Prime Minister, she has become the most prominent citizen of the country

Early life Malala was born on July 12, 1997 She was named after a famous poet and warrior woman from southern Afghanistan She was mostly educated by her father who is a poet, school owner, and a educational activist himself Malala once wanted to become a doctor however her father encouraged her to become a politician instead

Malala started to speak about education rights since September 2008 Biography Malala started to speak about education rights since September 2008 In early 2009, she started to blog for BBC about living under the Taliban’s threats to deny her an education Malala and her family learned that the Taliban had issued a death threat against her activism On October 9, 2012, Malala was shot on the left side of her head but thankfully survived

Reflection Malala Yousafzai is a very inspiring role model. She’s courageous and brave and fights for what she believes in. Despite of the Taliban, Malala still advocated for female education which was motivating. At such a young age, she has done many accomplishments and done many things for the people around her. This shows that anyone is capable of doing anything.
