Soaking in a Hot Tub Before & After a Workout is Great for Your Body

Workouts can stress your muscles and joints, as well as the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Soaking in a hot tub can increase blood flow, stimulate healing and relax sore muscles. Soaking in the hot tub before and after a workout is considered very beneficial for your body.

Soaking in a Hot Tub Before a Workout A quick ten minute soak in the hot tub can be greatly beneficial to your workout routine. It will warm up your body, increase the blood flow and loosen up your muscles. The warm water will make you perspire, which is excellent for maximum calorie burn.

Soaking in a Hot Tub After a Workout Immediately after your workout, let your muscles and heart rate cool down. Once you cool down, soaking in the hot tub will help your mind and body relax and stimulate the healing and recovery process.

Soaking in a Hot Tub 24 to 48 Hours After a Workout Soaking in a hot tub 24 to 48 hours after a workout is the period of time you receive the most benefit. The warm water will stimulate the healing of damaged muscles and increase blood flow to areas that may need repair.
