Referring to Glasgow Sonnet i and at least one other poem, explain how Morgan uses setting to develop the central concerns of each work. (8) How task applies to extract (1 mark) Setting is important in ‘Glasgow Sonnet I’ because it makes clear to us just how neglected and decayed the tenement block is. How task applies to another poem (1) It’s also important in ‘Winter’ because it the theme of loss is developed through the change of the seasons.
