DOMAIN The largest taxon Humans belong to the Domain Eukaryote

KINGDOM There are 6 kingdoms that all living things are divided into Humans belong to Kingdom Animalia

PHYLUM There are lots of phyla Humans belong to the phyla Chordata

Class Humans belong to the class Mammalia

ORDER Humans belong to the order Primates

FAMILY Humans belong to the family Hominidae

Genus Humans belong to the genus Homo

SPECIES Humans are the species sapiens

Binomial Nomenclature All living things have a scientific name using their Genus and species names. EX: Humans are Homo sapiens Scientific names are ALWAYS written in italics or underlined
