World Studies 10 9.8.16 Turn in: Take out: Nothing Take out: Pen, paper Today’s Learning Objectives: I can describe important aspects of the syllabus. I can determine the best way to do “things.” Today’s Agenda: The Best Way to do Things HW: BWTDT Reflection

The Best Way to do Things SILENTLY, as an INDIVIDUAL, on a sheet of paper with a heading and title of “The Best Way to do Things,” respond with your gut instinct (no more than 30 seconds for each) to the following prompts: What is the best way to: Get a date with a boy or a girl (pick one…) Ask your parent(s) for money Win at Call of Duty: Zombies Parallel Park Get from the Library to Spartan Gym Get from SHS to IHS Best way to get an “A” in class Best way to tie your shoes To get a good night’s sleep Cure a head cold Get internet followers (twitter, Instagram, whatever it is you folks are using these days…)

The Best Way to do Things We need to get into 12 groups…no more than 6 people per group…NO ONE @ YOUR TABLE GROUP!!! (3rd period…see directions in class…) Similar process, but you will now get a random “thing” and you will ALL need to agree as a group as to how the BEST way to perform that action is to take place. You will all need to keep track on your own paper what is happening within the group. Again, there must be CONSENSUS! Then, follow the rest of the instructions on your “thing” card you are presented…
