Revision Session - Key Skills

Skill 1 : Basics Set up your work area (think health and safety!) Find a file on your computer L1 : Create folders on your USB stick or on the desktop

Skill 2 : Email Open your email (know your log in & password!) Be able to read and reply to an email from me L1: deal with attachments (open them or add them)

Skill 3 : Word Set font size and style Set alignment Set bold, italic, underline

Skill 4 : Images Copy and paste Resize L1 : Flip and rotate CTRL-C & CTRL-V Resize use the corner! L1 : Flip and rotate

Skill 5 : Internet Search Use Chrome or Edge Enter your search terms in the search box or the address bar L1 : Advanced search (use “ “ for an exact search ,or AND / OR)

Skill 6 : Spreadsheets Format numbers Set column size SUM formula : use autosum or type it out =SUM(A1:A5) L1 : AVERAGE / MIN / MAX L1 : Create a chart L1 : Sort data
