Personal Digital Devices Lesson 2: Mobile Phones

Learning Outcomes LO1: Pupils can recall various features of a mobile phone. LO2: Pupils can identify strengths and weaknesses in different mobile phones for different market areas. LO3: Pupils will apply their knowledge of features of mobile phones to construct arguments for a specific mobile phones ability to meet a market areas needs.

Starter Homework task answers

1) When making a telephone call what features does your phone have? What features do other phones have that yours doesn’t if any 2) What additional communication features does your phone have? 3) Many mobile phone devices have developed in to multimedia devices. What media can your phone store and use? What features make your phone stand out from other devices or it’s USP (unique selling point)
