In The Valley In the STORM

See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel, which is translated “God is with us.” Matthew 1:23 CSB

Never allow the presence of a storm to cause you to doubt the presence of God.

For many days neither sun nor stars appeared, and the severe storm kept raging. Finally all hope was fading that we would be saved. Acts 27:20 CSB

Since they had been without food for a long time, Paul then stood up among them and said, “You men should have followed my advice not to sail from Crete and sustain this damage and loss. Acts 27:21 CSB

Now I urge you to take courage, because there will be no loss of any of your lives, but only of the ship. For last night an angel of the God I belong to and serve stood by me and said... Acts 27:22–26 CSB

‘Don’t be afraid, Paul. It is necessary for you to appear before Caesar. And indeed, God has graciously given you all those who are sailing with you.’ So take courage, men, because I believe God that it will be just the way it was told to me. But we have to run aground on some island.” Acts 27:22–26 CSB

They came and woke him up, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to die They came and woke him up, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to die!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waves. So they ceased, and there was a calm. Luke 8:24 CSB

Peace is found in the presence of Jesus.

I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.” John 16:33 CSB

For last night an angel of the God I belong to and serve stood by me and said, ‘Don’t be afraid, Paul. It is necessary for you to appear before Caesar... Acts 27:23–26 CSB

And indeed, God has graciously given you all those who are sailing with you.’ So take courage, men, because I believe God that it will be just the way it was told to me. But we have to run aground on some island.” Acts 27:23–26 CSB

There is a purpose in the storm.

So take courage, men, because I believe God that it will be just the way it was told to me. Acts 27:25 CSB

God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble. Therefore we will not be afraid... Psalm 46:1–3 CSB

...though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas, though its water roars and foams and the mountains quake with its turmoil. Selah Psalm 46:1–3 CSB

If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved... Romans 10:9–10 CSB

One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9–10 CSB
