GJNH InS:PIRE

Team “Jube”: 1st cohort Lisa Davey: the “organiser” Katie and Lucy: ICU nurses Martyn: the “lovely” pharmacist Fiona (and Chris) : the “lively” physios John and Anna: psychology Karen: Carers of West Dunbartonshire Isma : ICU doc

What Worked Well Team members Dynamics Able to effect small changes Small cohort to start Presence of 3rd sector ie Karen throughout the programme

What We Noticed/Learned Dealing with uncertainty+/- preconceived ideas It can be a very “organic” process Small changes do make big differences Team-working when done well is very powerful The patients/ carers dictate the process

How Did It Feel Scary: we were way out of our comfort zones Uncertain: could we get it to work Awesome: seeing how the team gelled together Uplifting: seeing change over the weeks Sad but also euphoric to finally get to the end of our first cohort

What We Plan To Test Next Keeping same “players” Bigger cohort Structure Improvement in patient/ relatives and staff awareness of PICS Publicise InS:PIRE

What We Need Help** With ( **reality and aspirational) Secretarial input May need larger accommodation “Networking” concept: related 1o to geography Primary care

What We Could Help With “Networking”: 2 way street Local expertise Sharing our experiences (+ve and –ve)
