WHY? Record our progress Assess Inform national Targets Because we have to! Allow us to monitor Inform future conservation work Improve our baseline knowledge (PPS9)

BARS Biodiversity Action Reporting System Complex and time consuming No one logged in Very few updates

HOW? Wildlife Trust (BAP Coordinator) will compile all information and then enter into BARS Producing draft forms for planning and land advisory sectors

But we have loads of forms! We have / need to report on what is happening It could feed in to the AMR process Place the emphasis on developers / applicants Help to assess planning applications Help to assess EMP success
