Football Mania: Audience Profile

Information about Football Mania Sports company based in Sheffield (a popular sporting heritage) Specialize in football merchandise Have a contract from the FA to reproduce classic football shirts

Who might buy the products? Average age range of 8 – 35 years old. More dedicated fanbase. Mostly male audience No application towards Ethnicity/Culture, any religion. A range of social classes (NRS), mostly C2 – E response

‘Imaginary entity’ audience David is 20 years of age. He is a massive fan of football ever since the age of 6. Since then, he’s researched into rare collectibles throughout the ages of football, from old player shirts to the many branded footballs, but he unfortunately cannot collect such items due to pricing. To show his love for the sport, he always tries to attend the local club of Sheffield F.C.. He currently works Full-Time in the afternoons at his local Asda store, which closely sits between his house and the Football Club, allowing him to get to work, the club and his house with ease. In his free-time, he likes to open up social media (such as Facebook and Twitter) and make comments about recent football games, such as during the World Cup.
