ALL ABOUT LOCKERS You will be assigned a locker near your homeroom on the first day of school. You will need to bring your own lock- buy one as soon as possible and practice, practice, practice! If you have trouble opening your lock, teachers will help you. The lockers are too small for people to fit in.
CORE CLASSES ELA (English Language Arts) Math, Science, and Social Studies are called your “Core” classes. Your core class teachers make up a “team.” You will only have core classes with students who are also on your team. Each team’s classrooms are clustered together so that you will not get lost.

You must change clothes each day for P.E. True or False? False. You do not have to change clothes for P.E., but you may if you want to. You must be wearing : Sneakers / comfortable closed-toe shoes Clothes that let you run, jump, and move easily You must change clothes each day for P.E.
HEALTH AND PE Every student takes Health and P.E. You will alternate between Health and P.E. each quarter. If you choose to change clothes for P.E., you will need a second lock for your P.E. locker.

Attendance School starts at 9am and dismisses at 4pm. Be here, be on time, stay the whole time. Good attendance in middle school is SO IMPORTANT! Being present in classes is the best way to learn and stay on top of assignments.
Technology Each classroom has Chromebooks for student use, so you do not need to bring your own technology Phones/tablets must be turned off and in your locker while you are at school. Be kind to others on social media: school staff does not monitor use of social media at home. However: If your choices online disrupt the learning environment, you could face consequences at school.
