Cerberus By: Matthew Terven

Origin Cerberus' father was Typhon, a huge dragon-like monster so horrible that even the Olympian gods ran and hid from him when he first appeared, even taking on the shape of animals to escape. It took the goddess Athena to shame and goad Zeus into confronting Typhon, and after an epic battle, burying him under Mount Aetna. Cerberus' mother, Echidna, had the head and torso of a beautiful woman, though the lower part of her body was that of a speckled serpent. She dwelled in a cave where she ate men raw. With her husband Typhon she raised a monstrous brood which included the Hydra, the Chimaera, Orthrus the two headed hellhound, and, according to some sources, the Sphinx, as well as Cerberus.

Power Giant Size: Cerberus is larger then any man, with power to match them Strength: Cerberus has great strength, allowing him to prevent souls from leaving the Underworld. Senses: With a power sense of smell and hearing, no one who tries to escape can get past Cerberus Multiple Heads: Enables him to look in several places at once. Immortality: Shoots out poison that kills instantly. Fire: It has control over fires and each cerberus has a signature color of flame

Story Cerberus is a three- headed dog that guards the underworld, allowing the dead to come in but none to come out. He was the son of Typhon and Echidna. Apart from his three heads, he also had a serpent's tail, a mane of snakes and the claws of a lion.

Conclusion This is one of the few things that I would not want to encounter out in the wild, or in the underworld.
