Geography of Arabia The Arabian Peninsula has a hot, dry climate. Bodies of water have played an important role in the history of Arabia.

Rivers of Arabia Arabian rivers allowed people to trade, travel, grow crops, and catch fish. The most important rivers of this region are the Nile, the Tigris, and the Euphrates.

Answer questions on a formatted sheet titled Arabian geography! What is the climate of Arabia? What rivers have played an important role in Arabian history?

Larger bodies of water The Mediterranean Sea served as an important trade route between Asia and Europe. Many important civilizations developed around the Mediterranean Sea.

Larger bodies of water The Black Sea and the Caspian Sea also served Arabia as trade routes.

Land Connections Arabia is connected by land to Northern Africa by the Sinai penninsula. As a result, Northern Africa shares a similar climate and culture with Arabia.
