Adjectives and Articles: An adjective describes a noun or pronoun It tells what kind, how many, or which one Ex: I ate three tacos. Ex: I used the purple crayon. A, an, and the are adjectives called articles Ex: She followed the teacher to lunch. An adjective formed from a proper noun is called a proper adjective and is always capitalized. Ex: I waved an American flag.
