Zimmertwins.com can be used as a tool that allows students and teachers to create movies using animations that can be used as part of a lecture, class project, or homework assignment. Teachers can also use movies created by other users to the class and students can play games online. This web 2.0 tool also have an app for the Iphone or Ipad that students and teachers can download for them to be accessible wherever they go. All of these features are free for students and teachers to use.

How can students use this tool? This web 2.0 tool is very versatile, fun and interactive and students can use this tool in any school subjects for their school projects or class assignments. For Math, students can create a short movie about a certain math topic like subtraction or addition or create story problems. For Science, students can create a short clip on how science works or a tutorial on an experiment done in class. For Language Arts, students can create a short story movie individually or with a small group that can be presented to the whole class. For Reading, students can read a book and create their own ending using ZimmerTwins.com to add creativity to the subject and then present it to the class. For Social Studies, students can re-create a historical event using ZimmerTwins.com or present a short movie about an important battle. Students can also use this web 2.0 tools in a computer class by learning how to create a movie and adding text boxes to the animations. For students in media art, they can use this tool to create a commercial or produce a news segment.
