Tidbits Our third graders are working hard to grow and stretch their brains. Ask your child what it means to have a Growth Mindset. Our Learning Remember to send in a healthy snack for your child each day. Fresh fruits and vegetables, popcorn, etc., are all healthy options. Math – Time Time using analog and digital clocks, calculate elapsed time, and determine amounts of time in days, weeks, and months by using a calendar. Language Arts – Narrative Elements (Characters, Setting, Problem, Solution) Content – Citizenship and Government Our Learning This Friday is our first Super Spirit Day. Be sure to go all out with your Green, Blue, and Silver. Go Bobcats! Practicing at Home Read a favorite picture book and have your child identify the narrative elements of the story. Practice telling time using an analog clock. Practice addition math facts.
