What does the reality of the resurrection means for us. How do we live What does the reality of the resurrection means for us? How do we live? What do transformed lives look like?
Spiritual disciplines are a deliberate tool for what the early church termed the “Mortification” of our flesh. They often engage some form of “denial” of something self-oriented in order to build on grace.
Celebration: where we recognize and proclaim externally the wonder and awe we experience internally at who God is or what He has done. A few examples: ________________________
Service: where we lay aside that which is most valuable to us all, time, in order to pursue the well-being of some kind for another.
Study: where we invest in our understanding of what God has made known to us about His will and ways. This goes along with teaching, suggesting that every single one of us is both a student and a teacher in the mission to make disciples.
Spiritual Disciplines are not works enabling grace; they are fruits of cultivating roots in the ground called grace.
