A Grade 1 listed château currently operating as a 23 bedroom hotel with restaurant near the town of Châteauroux. A development project providing a further 10 apartments and 17 en-suite bedrooms has been drawn up and costed. Built in the reign of King Louis XI around 1470, the chateau was created as a fortress with fourteen towers and two drawbridges to protect its inhabitant, the King's adviser at the time. The chateau is classified ISMH as a monument of historical interest and its fascinating history through the ages has been carefully documented and is available on request.
The chateau has gross floor area of 2,650 m2 and is operating as an exceptional Boutique Hotel, however, it would also suit being a European corporate headquarters, or the ultimate dream wedding venue.
