Affordable Housing Task Force Role Review input from community meetings & focus groups Study & identify affordable housing strategies and policies Make recommendations to City Council

Benefits of a Task Force Task force would represent a broad cross-section of community ensuring a variety of perspectives Working group can sift through existing research and input to identify strategies that best serve the city Task force work is transparent and open to the public

Moving Forward with a Task Force 9 members representing affordable housing advocates, businesses, residents, developers, etc. Lay out a work plan and timeline Hold regularly scheduled meetings that are open to the public

Next Steps If City Council decides to proceed with task force, next steps include: Appoint members to task force Hold City Council work session to define goals and other parameters for task force
