Fast Facts Steve Prevette is a practitioner of Performance Measurement using the Theory and Tools developed and promoted by Dr. Walter Shewhart and Dr. W. Edwards Deming. He is a statistician for FH, reporting to Occupational Safety and Health. His performance indicators cover a broad spectrum of subjects, including safety, environment, operations, maintenance, and quality. He provides his organization over 2,200 charts and analyses per month and has published several articles in the American Society for Quality’s Quality Progress magazine. He has provided the Red Bead Experiment for more than 1,500 persons in the state of Washington, and leads a monthly training session in performance indicators at Hanford. He also teaches evening statistical courses for City University.
