Tamil Nadu will be using the National Teacher Platform

TAMIL NADU TEACHER PLATFORM (TNTP) Tamil Nadu Teacher Platform (TNTP) will be a state-of-the-art platform to host Open Educational Resources (OER) and tools for Teachers in Schools, Teacher Educators in Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) and Student Teachers in TEIs.

1.Teacher Training Training – digital assessment – exemption/ remedial training – online assessment/ custom made training. TNTP

2. Textbook Textbooks are available as pdf and epub formats to read from Tablets, Smartphones, Laptops and Computers. TNTP

3. Teacher Handbook Teachers will be able to schedule their class and plan their teaching learning activities digitally. TNTP

4. Lesson plan Teachers can prepare their lesson plans within prescribed time limit and share them. TNTP

5.Content Creation Teachers will be able to create content for Open Educational Resources (OER) which are available to all teachers for classroom consumption. TNTP

6. Pedagogy TNTP Class room transaction would be manual as well as digital .

7. Questioning TNTP Enables teachers as well as students to ask questions. The best questioning minds may be brought together in creating questions, with right kind of distractor.

8. Taking kid out of Textbook TNTP 8. Taking kid out of Textbook Content created by the teachers in the platform shall take the kid out of textbook syllabus.

9. Assessment & Analytics TNTP Along with conventional assessment, digital assessment would also be carried out. Instant analysis of assessment possible where digital assessment happens.

10. Feedback at all levels TNTP Each level of administrative hierarchy get to see the progress of teaching learning and achievement outcomes.

11.Predictive analysis TNTP The meta data created over a period feeds the teacher on the right steps to be taken in classroom transaction.

12.Community sharing TNTP The parent network will be given simultaneous update about the learning process of the kid and both way communication would be made possible. TNTP
