We are Silent April 2015 CAT initiative

What is We are Silent? Millions of girls around the world are denied the right to education and feel like they don’t have a voice They suffer in poverty and exploitation They are denied school because of fees, gender inequality and the need to stay home and take care of younger siblings.

What do we do? Take a stand and be silent to raise awareness about the 31 million girls out of school…or support by donating money, or buying food sold by KLO’s Community Action Team to help raise funds.

How is KLO helping youth without a voice (or choice)? Friday, May 1st and May 8th, all proceeds from the Lunch pizza sales will be donated to help build a school for girls in Nepal and for a bicycle for a girl to get to school. CAT is pledging $260 for this program, through IWEN Canada. This is our only international fund raiser for the year.
