Introduction to Newline Laundry Having the auto dosed equipment installed and the Newclean products delivered is only the start of the revolutionary approach Newline have taken in responding to our customers needs in the Laundry Room. What our customers really want is a laundry system that will provide them with a professional wash whilst giving them the peace of mind that through our system they can destroy the H1N1 uvirus,C.difficile and MRSA Bacteria. We can combine that requirement whilst implementing a low temperature washing profile that saves energy and as a direct result reduces costs. All this is backed up with the latest technology in monitoring the usage of each machine and a full Managers report can be provided to enable a constant check on costs within the Laundry.

Products Newclean 20 Newclean 20 Detergent Minimises the need for high temperature washing, saving energy and time, therefore reducing laundry costs Tough on stains but gentle on fabric, cutting textile replacement costs Provides superb cleaning results across a wide variety of stain groups Suitable for use in any washing machine A high quality Liquid Laundry Detergent which can be used at low temperatures.

Products Newclean 21 Fabric Softener Newclean 21 Newclean 21 Fabric Softener makes the clothes more water repellent, this means that when the spin cycle process is reached the clothes release the water easily, leaving the fabrics much dryer It also provides anti static properties to the clothes. Both of which speeds up the drying process which reduces the energy costs. Also as it is introduced art the final stage of the process it leaves the clothes with a pleasant fragrance

Products Newclean 22 Newclean 22 Destainer is a liquid destainer which delivers outstanding stain removal at low temperatures and is suitable for all types of fabric. Destains at low temperatures, which allows washing at 30 o C, saving energy and time Outstanding stain removal for all types of fabric, both whites and colours Effective against a wide range of stains e.g. tea, wine, cocoa and grass Gentle on fabrics - extends the life of your textiles, reducing fabric replacement costs

Products Newclean 22 Newclean 22 Destainer Benefits User friendly, non corrosive as well as being non- irritant should it come into contact with skin Environmentally friendly as it is completely biodegradable Destaining starts at Just 20 o C Enables washing at low temperatures significantly reducing energy consumption Compliments Newclean 20 & Newclean 35 Halo to give superior cleaning results on both colours and whites Extends the life of fabrics compared to typical laundry bleaches By using lower temperatures wash time is reduced enabling more wash loads every day

Products Performance of Newclean 22 at different Washing Temperatures

Technical Approach to Laundry Newlines unique approach to supplying Laundry products to their customers is the technical information we are able to supply managers due to the software within the pumps we supply. When a newline representative visits they are able to connect their laptops directly to the Laundry equipment and download a full report for the customer, each report provides the following information:- How many washes per day are being done What programmes are being used Chemical usage both in total and for each individual wash Cost per wash cycle This enables the customer to analyse and monitor their laundry expenditure and, highlighting any misuse

Average Cost in use Average saving on electricity of 2.5 Khz approx 40p

Low Temperature Washing With electricity costs continuing to rise at a rate far above inflation, we here at Newline continue to look for ways to reduce our customers costs. Laundry costs are usually the most significant cost in any companys cleaning budget, therefore, if the need to heat water within the washing process is massively reduce, the cost saving is dramatic. (Calculation based on an Electrolux WE 50 washer-extractor with a capacity of 5 kg) For example, by washing at 30 o C rather than 60 o C, a saving of around 77% (cold fill) or 69% (mixed fill) is achieved in energy costs alone.

Low Temperature Washing In addition if you reduce the time taken to heat the water, you equally reduce the wash cycle time, again reducing costs but also increasing the efficiency and number of washes achievable per day For example, by washing at 30 o C rather than 60 o C, the wash time is cut by around 25 minutes. (Calculation based on an Electrolux WE 50 washer-extractor with a capacity of 5 kg)

Low Temperature Washing With low temperature washing saving 2.5Kwh, looking at the graph below it is evident that savings will continue to grow, especially as the prices do not reflect the new energy price rises currently being implemented, Saving The life of fabrics Time Energy

Halo ® Commercial - FAQs We currently use/are considering using an ozone washing system Halo ® Commercial does not tie your organisation into any long term contract, unlike companies offering ozone washing systems. In addition, Halo ® can be used with your existing washing machines. We are happy with our current supplier Our products perform as well as (if not better) than those from your existing supplier. With regard to Halo ® Commercial, this is the only liquid laundry detergent that is scientifically proven to kill C. difficile spores and MRSA. In addition, it also destroys the H1N1 flu virus. What if we dont have MRSA, C. difficile or swine flu issues? Halo ® Commercial offers excellent cleaning performance with the added benefit of helping to prevent C. difficile, MRSA and swine flu problems arising. Page 16
