My FMP Concept By Callum Brown

Genre The genre of my magazine is about Video Games and my main inspiration was magazines such as PC Gamer Magazine. It will be a more conventional magazine instead of unconventional.

Target Audience The main target audience of my magazine will be aimed at 16-30 year olds. This is the main target audience of similar magazines such as PC Gamer and GamesRadar.

Layout and Design For the layout of my online and print articles I will be going for a more conventional design, similar to designs from PCGamer and RockPaperShotgun.

Feature Articles The two feature articles will be about ‘The Rise Of Esports In Modern Culture’ and ‘How Younger Generations Of Parents Have Helped Games Become Mainstream Media’. Rise of Esports article will be online, Parents article will be printed. Interviewees: Try to get an interview with a Sumo Digital Employee, my friend Joseph Quayle (Esports article), and my Dad (Parent article). Photographs: I will use in game screenshots and some photos of my interviewees for their sections.

Audio/Video Products Audio: I may do one of the interviews in the form of a short podcast. Video: I could record footage of a competitive match of a popular multiplayer game such as Overwatch or Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Record on of the interviews as a video.

Magazine Name Name of the magazine: The Next Gen Represents that the magazine usually is about new and upcoming games and hardware in the industry.
