Georgia was born 1887 and died 1986 Born in Wisconsin and moved to Texas as a young girl She was an accomplished artist by the age of 17

Georgia studied art in Chicago, New York, and Virginia. Moved to Texas and became an art teacher

She began painting things found in her new environment She threw away all her early works after her discovery of the nature in Texas. She began painting things found in her new environment
