Helping your child learn their tricky words… Tricky words- practise!! -Highlight the shape of the word -Match the words to each other -Play games e.g. hunt the word (in a book) -Chanting the word and its letters Reading with your child everyday -Lots of praise- High frequency words- it, at, off, in etc.
