Quotation Learning Lesson Revision Tips & Hints Filing Cabinet in my brain I will model this on the board In your book choose a word to use as a memory aid for this task and then write everything you can remember on it On a post it note – write down as many ways you can think of - things you are doing to learn quotations. Knowledge Organiser Quizzing – ten minutes – in pairs Ask each other questions using the KOs to help you about who said what and what theme it is for Register Quote Reminder Listen to each other as you say a quote as I take the register – Any text At the end – I’ll test you on who said what. Sugar Paper “Empty your brain” 5 minute per text quote carousel On each piece of paper – there is a title – you write as many quotes as you can remember from the different texts Metacognition Finale In your books - explain in writing: What strategy from today’s lesson would you recommend for learning quotes and why?
