So What’s the Deal? Magnets, containing a magnetic field measured by “flux” (Φ ) or quantity of magnetism, spin inside the generator casing. This spinning of the magnetic field causes a “change in flux” which produces an electrical field. This phenomenon is known as Electromagnetic Induction. Wrapping copper wire around the generator casing allows for the transmission of the electromagnetic field.
