5th Grade Lunch Survey Project Mrs. Corsano’s Class Student C

About the project We looked at all the menus from this year. We brainstormed in our groups about what lunch items we would like to see sold We created a survey for the entire 5th grade using Survey Monkey We then used Excel to graph the results Lastly we used this data in a persuasive letter to try to get the café people to follow our suggestions.

Persuasive Letter Dear Pomptionion, The 5th grade students would like for pomptionion to change some of the lunch menu items. We think you should change some of the lunch items. The first one that we feel you should sell is the flying saucer. Secondly, the whole 5th grade voted on this. Finally you can make more of a profit. Firstly, you should sell flying saucers. One reason is kids like them and they are so easy to make. There is practically no man-power needed at all. Secondly, the whole 5th grade votes. Most students voted for flying saucers which was 24 votes, fruit and chocolate was 10 votes, cup cakes had 10 votes and ice cream without topping was 20 votes. Finally, you can make more of a profit. You can save money by making the flying saucers instead of buying ice cream. A lot of students voted for flying saucers so they will buy them. As you can see, lots of people like flying saucers. We think you should sell flying sauces and replace a menu item. Secondly, the whole 5th grade voted and decided on them. Finally, you can make more money. I hope you will consider the 5th grade votes of changing some of the lunch menu items. Your friend, Student C
