Irregular Plural Nouns!

Here’s what it means… A noun is a person, place, or thing. Plural means more than one. Irregular means that it doesn’t follow the rules. So… A plural noun is more than one of a person, place, or thing. To write an irregular plural noun we have to something different than just add “s”. Here are some common irregular plural nouns…

One man walked down the street. Lots of… men walked down the street.

One child played outside. Lots of… children played outside.

One mouse ate some cheese. Lots of… mice ate some cheese.

Let’s try some more practice! I saw a goose. We saw some… geese! Look at that wolf! Look at those… wolves! My pet fish is blue. I love all my pet… fish! My tooth is gone. I lost all of my… teeth!

Just a few more! The moose was fury. Look at all of the… moose! My foot is big. Look at my big… feet! I will roll the die first. I will roll both… dice!
