Importing your Favorites/Bookmarks For Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox

Chrome Open Chrome. In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the Chrome menu . Select Import Bookmarks and Settings. In the "From" drop-down menu, select Bookmarks HTML file. Select Choose File. Upload the saved HTML. Click Done.

Internet Explorer Open Internet Explorer on the new computer. Insert the removable media that contains the Favorites file. When it loads, click the Star in the top right corner area. Then click the down arrow by “Add to Favorites”. Click "Import/Export." The "Import/Export Wizard" will begin. Click “Import from a file” then click "Next" to start the wizard. Select "Import Favorites" and click "Next." Click the "Browse" button. Find the removable media and click "Open." Click "Next" then click "Finish."

Firefox Click the Bookmarks button and select Show All Bookmarks to open the Library window. In the Library window, click the Import and Backup button and then select Restore.

Firefox Choose File... lets you restore from a manual backup (This is the file you saved to your L drive or Flash drive). After choosing a file, your bookmarks from that file will be restored. Close the Library window.
