The Dashboard Do you ever get tired of opening and closing windows when switching from function to function to function? And all those clicks? To make this task easier for you, Garden State MLS has developed a new enhancement that allows you to access multiple functions all from one screen: The Dashboard. Just as your car's dashboard keeps you apprised of many different aspects of its performance, similarly the New MLS Dashboard presents you with various functions to stay on top of your day-to-day real estate business. To access the Dashboard, click on the Dashboard link in the upper right corner of the Homepage:

The Dashboard Screen When you first open the Dashboard, it will look like this

The Dashboard Screen The Dashboard contains 8 sections: 1. Detailed Listing Information: Search by ML#, with multiple results. This section is what dashboards are all about: getting multiple results from a single inquiry. Enter an ML#, then click on the Search button. Search Result, Tax Result, Listing History Result, and Property Archive Result all will display: To run a new Detailed Listing Information search, click on the Edit Criteria link, enter a new ML#, then click on the Search button to the right.

The Dashboard Screen   2. ML# Search: Search by ML#, with Property Results page. Enter ML#/s, then click on the Search button. The Property Results screen will display. To run a new ML# search, click on the Edit Criteria link, enter a new ML#, then click on the Search button to the right. 3. Quick Search: works like the standard Quick Search. (You can also have the system Remember Search Parameter Value, either For this Session, Always, or Never.) Select Property Type, then click on Search. The Quick Search screen will display. Enter your parameters, then click on Search. The Property Results screen will display. . To run a new Quick Search, click on the Edit Criteria link, enter new parameters, then click on the Search button to the right. 4. Saved Search: Has drop-down list of all your Saved Searches. Select a Saved Search, then click on SEARCH. The Property Results screen will display. To run a new Saved Search, select a new search from the dropdown box, then click on the Search button to the right.

The Dashboard Screen   5. Listing History: works like the standard Listing History Search. Enter the ML#, then click on Search. The Listing History Results screen will display: To run a new Listing History search, click on the Edit Criteria link, enter a new ML#, then click on the Search button to the right. 6. Property Archive Search: works like the standard Property Archive Search. Enter the ML#, then click on Search. The Property Archive Results screen will display. . To run a new Property Archive Search, click on the Edit Criteria link, enter new parameters, then click on the Search button to the right.    7. My Inventory (A, UC, US): Click on the Display button, and your current Active, Under Contract, and Under Contract Continue to Show inventory will display. 8. My Standard Hotsheet: When you first enter the Dashboard, the My Standard Hotsheet results will display automatically, based on the parameters you had set for it. If some time goes by and you would like to see updated results, click on the Refresh button. If you would like to update the timestamp, click on the Update Timestamp To:…. link. Also, upon exiting the Dashboard, you will be asked if you would like to update the timestamp.

The Dashboard Screen   You may refresh individual sections by clicking on the Refresh button within that section. You may also refresh the entire Dashboard page by clicking on the Refresh button in the top right corner of the page. You may minimize and maximize individual sections by clicking on the min/max icon to the left of each section heading . You may minimize and maximize all sections by clicking on the min/max icon to the left of the page title, To close the Dashboard, click on the Close button in the upper right of the screen. Finally, note the message at the top of the Dashboard screen: You may keep your Dashboard available while you work in other areas. If your browser uses tabs, Dashboard and Main MLS will be in separate tabs, and you may just switch back and forth. If the Dashboard opens in a new window, you may minimize the Dashboard when not using it, then maximize it again when using it. Note: you will be logged off the Dashboard if there is no activity for two hours.
