Is the Resurrection a Myth? Gary Habermas (New Testament scholar) The earliest original accounts of other deities are 2nd and 3rd century A.D. and there is no “resurrection” (in other words, after the apostles account) Only a couple of scholars out of 1,200 who are experts in this field believe that Christians copied ancient mythologies about a dying and rising Savior Tim Callahan (Skeptic) There were lots of resurrection stories in ancient history Lots of stories about dying and rising deities Jesus’ resurrection is just another one
