An Opportunity!

What will I do? -lead a Physics club -produce lesson plans/ learn classroom management -work in pairs / groups of 3 -obtain a CREST award -commit to 12 weeks leading a club in a local primary school -weekly meetings with Mrs James to plan and prepare lessons (Days to be confirmed)

Why should I do it? Are you interested in any career involving children? You will develop your ability to communicate effectively with children. You will obtain a silver CREST award. It could be used it towards your DofE You will stand out from the crowd when applying to University or for the next step. You will really enjoy it!

What do I do now? Sign up on the list on the door of PH2 before the end of the week. Check your school email regularly so you know when the first meeting will be. Be thinking who you would like to work with/ which school/which day may suit you.

Still Unsure? “I have found running the science club a fantastic experience! I especially enjoyed carrying out practical work with the children, which enabled them to get fully involved and be engaged. It has been really rewarding to work with such enthusiastic children and felt great to see them enjoying the sessions we had planned”
