Models: T-cathode I produced field maps in CST for the T-shape cathode for 3 cases: Cathode at -100 kV anode at 0 kV Cathode at 0 kV anode at -0 kV Cathode at -100 kV anode at -10 kV Then I ran three different simulations on GPT to check superposition of E-fields: Simulation with the 100_0 field map Simulation with the 100_0 field map and 0_100 field map (called one after the other in the *.in file) Simulation with the 100_10 field map
Cathode-anode gap: Not mushroom but T-shape, though! The data for the following plots was taken along the cathode anode gap as a function of the height (on the photocathode surface) varying from -6mm to 6mm. Not mushroom but T-shape, though!
Transverse vertical field maps
GPT results: Transverse electric field – T-shape

GPT stuff
NEMI_Y_RMS BUT, BUT, BUT!? SUPERPOSITION PRINCIPLE!
Then? How to recover Ey after GPT solves? To check if:
