HADITH

HADITH Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Whoever says (upon leaving his house): بِسْم اللَّهِ توكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ ، ولا حوْلَ ولا قُوةَ إلاَّ بِاللَّهِ it will be said to him: 'You are guided, defended and protected.' The devil will go far away from him". [Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi and An-Nasa'i]. Abu Dawud reported it with this addition: "One devil will say to another: 'How can you deal with a man who has been guided, defended and protected?".

Whenever the Prophet (PBUH) stepped out of his house, he would say: HADITH Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Whenever the Prophet (PBUH)  stepped out of his house, he would say: بسم اللَّهِ، توكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أعوذُ بِكَ أنْ أَضِلَّ أو أُضَلَّ ، أَوْ أَزِلَّ أوْ أُزلَّ ، أوْ أظلِمَ أوْ أُظلَم ، أوْ أَجْهَلَ أو يُجهَلَ عَلَيَّ Abu Dawud

بِسْمِ اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ Leaving house بِسْمِ اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ In the name of Allah I trusted / relied upon Allah

إِلاَّ بِاللهِ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ لاَ حَوْلَ Except with Allah And no power Leaving house إِلاَّ بِاللهِ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ لاَ حَوْلَ Except with Allah And no power There is no strength

or be strayed (by others) Leaving house أَوْ أُضَلَّ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي or be strayed (by others) lest I go astray [I] seek refuge in You O Allah! I truly

or I am made to slip (by others) Leaving house أَوْ أُظْلَمَ أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُزَلَّ أَوْ أَزِلَّ or I be wronged Or I do wrong or I am made to slip (by others) Or I slip

or (anyone) should act foolishly with me Leaving house أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَيَّ or I act foolishly or (anyone) should act foolishly with me

Word Study ظَلَمَ ضَلّ ظَلَمْتُ الضَّآلِّينَ أَظْلِمَ أَضِلَّ أُضَلَّ He wronged Root word ضَلّ He went astray ظَلَمْتُ الضَّآلِّينَ I have wronged Those who went astray أَظْلِمَ I go astray أَضِلَّ I wrong أُضَلَّ I am made to go astray I be wronged أُظْلَمَ تَضْلِيل To make go astray

خَيْرَ أَسْئَلُكَ اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي When Entering house The good Beg of you O Allah Indeed I

الْمَخْرَجِ وَخَيْرَ الْمَوْلِجِ of (my) going out and the good Entering house الْمَخْرَجِ وَخَيْرَ الْمَوْلِجِ of (my) going out and the good of (my) entrance

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللهِ خَرَجْنَا Entering house بِسْمِ اللهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللهِ خَرَجْنَا In the name of Allah we entered and in the name of Allah we came out

وَعَلَى اللهِ رَبَّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا Entering house وَعَلَى اللهِ رَبَّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا and on Allah our Lord we rely and trust

اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ Leaving house اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ

أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَيَّ Leaving house أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَيَّ

اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْئَلُكَ When entering house اَللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْئَلُكَ خَيْرَالْمَوْلِجِ وَخَيْرَ الْمَخْرَجِ

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللهِ خَرَجْنَا Entering house بِسْمِ اللهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللهِ خَرَجْنَا وَعَلَى اللهِ رَبَّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا

قواعد – Grammar Show the rules first. We will use all our senses. It is called TPI or TPR. It really enhances the learning. And note that this is not limited to these 6 pronouns. It has much more to do with all the verb forms that we will learn. You have spared so much time and came all the way. Don’t listen to Shaitaan. Don’t be shy to use these directions. We are learning the words of Qur’an here. If you use them, your learning will be easier and quicker. The rule for repetition is: Teacher (Ar+Ur) – Student (Ar+ Ur) * 3 times T(Ar) – St (Ur) * 3 times T(AA) – St(AA) * 3 times (in pairs; ex: huwa, hum – huwa,hum, …)

b يَدْعُو يَدْعُونَ دَعَا دَعَوْا تَدْعُونَ دَعَوْتَ دَعَوْتُمْ نَصَرَ، يَنْصُرُ .. تَدْعُو دَعَتْ يَدْعُو يَدْعُونَ دَعَا دَعَوْا لاَ تَدْعُ لاَ تَدْعُوا اُدْعُ اُدْعُوا تَدْعُونَ دَعَوْتَ دَعَوْتُمْ أَدْعُو نَدْعُو دَعَوْتُ دَعَوْنَا 197* دَاعٍ، مَدْعُوّ دُعَاء 90% of 197 forms are the ones we are practicing here. When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs

He guided تَهْدِي هَدَتْ يَهْدِي يَهْدُونَ هَدَى هَدَوْا لاَ تَهْدِ لاَ تَهْدُوا اِهْدِ اِهْدُوا تَهْدُونَ هَدَيْتَ هَدَيْتُمْ أَهْدِي نَهْدِي هَدَيْتُ هَدَيْنَا هَادٍ ، مَهْدِيٌّ هُدًى/هِدَايَة When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs

When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs نَصَر، يَنْصُرُ.. تَأْمُرُ أَمَرَتْ يَأْمُرُ يَأْمُرُونَ أَمَرَ أَمَرُوا لاَ تَأْمُرْ لاَ تَأْمُرُوا مُرْ مُرُوا تَأْمُرُونَ أَمَرْتَ أَمَرْتُمْ آمُرُ نَأْمُرُ أَمَرَتُ أَمَرنَا 232* آمِر ، مَأمُور أَمْر When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs

يَرَى يَرَوْنَ رَأَى رَأَوْا تَرَى تَرَوْنَ رَأَيْتَ رَأَيْتُمْ أَرَى تَأْتِي أَتَتْ يَرَى يَرَوْنَ رَأَى رَأَوْا لاَ تَرَ لاَ تَرَوْا رَ رَوْا تَرَى تَرَوْنَ رَأَيْتَ رَأَيْتُمْ أَرَى نَرَى رَأَيْتُ رَأَيْنَا 269* رَاءٍ ، مَرْئِيٌّ رَأْيٌ 90% of 197 forms are the ones we are practicing here. When practicing in Arabic, say it as if you are talking to Arabs
