Giuseppe Arcimboldo 1527-1593 Italian Painter best known for his creative and unique portraiture. Became a court artist in Vienna Also the court decorator and costume designer Reported to be fascinated by riddles and puzzles which inspired his visual work. A Renaissance Artist but said to be the inspiration for the Surrealist art movement hundreds of years later.
