Protein Synthesis Project Materials: white paper, pencil, & coloring utensils

Protein Synthesis Project Fold your white piece of paper in half (hamburger style). Fold it in half again (hamburger style). Draw in the creases with pencil to form 4 equal boxes on each side. Number each box in the lower right hand corner (#’s 1 – 8).

Protein Synthesis Project Box 1: Title Page : “Protein Synthesis Project” : By: Student Name : Draw a protein & its monomers. Color. Box 2: Explain why DNA is important for protein synthesis. Box 3: Step #1 (copy from your notes) Box 4: Step #2 (copy from your notes)

Protein Synthesis Project Box 5: Step #3 (copy from your notes) Box 6: Step #4 (copy from your notes) Box 7: Step #5 (copy from your notes) Box 8: Step #6 (copy from your notes) Once you are done writing down the text, draw a picture that appropriately symbolizes the process of Protein Synthesis. You can pick a theme if you like (i.e. Spongebob, Avengers, etc.).
