Genocide/Ethnic cleansing—Hotel Rwanda Reflections Read pgs. 12-13 in the Upfront Magazine and answer the following questions on this weeks bell work 1. Who are the Rohingya? Where are they from? 2. How have the Rohingya been treated by the people and government of Myanmar? 3. What is ethnic cleansing and how does it apply in this situation? Short answer—3-4 sentences In the midst of the brutal civil war depicted in Hotel Rwanda, Paul’s friend and co-worker Dube asks ,"Why are people so cruel?" How would you answer him? Use evidence from movie and article for examples of peoples cruelty.
