Who are Postdoctoral Scholars? They are a unique group that is separate from faculty, students and staff Postdocs are defined as individuals who earned a doctorate degree and are engaged in a full-time program of advanced academic preparation and research training under the direction and supervision of a faculty or research mentor. 5/3/2019

UCSD Postdocs 2 Categories of Postdocs: Employee and non-Employee 600 Employees and 400 non-Employees Approx GC = 450; SOM = 470; SIO = 80 Approx half are international. 5/3/2019
