Background My name is John Machaqueiro I have a bachelors degree in Graphic design from Temple U. I also have a masters degree in Animation and film from Temple U. I am presently getting a masters in Education at Holy Family U.

Our agenda this evening Teaching philosophy Class goals Homework expectations Daily routine Communication Questions, comments, or suggestions

Teaching Philosophy Cooperative environment Respect for others Positive reinforcement Individual attention Building self esteem

Class Goals Create a positive working environment Aid students in working at their own level Enhance the positives and lessen the negatives Build not only a better student but a better individual

Homework Expectations Homework completed every evening One hour of homework minimum Must be signed by a parent or guardian Parental involvement in homework strongly encouraged

Daily Routine Morning Discussion Morning: Math and social studies Lunch period Afternoon: Science and writing

Communication Folder containing all tests and memos to be looked at every night. Parent teacher meetings expected twice during school year. School information sent home is expected to be read.

Questions, comments, suggestions Your comments, questions or suggestions are strongly recommended and greatly appreciated. My goal is to help your child be the best that they can be. If we work together in a cooperative nature we will be doing our part to insure this takes place.
