FIRST AID PROCEDURES If any employee becomes injured or cut, they are to seek immediate medical attention First aid kits available (main office) If injury is serve, call 911 for immediate care All injuries require an accident report (main office)

FIRST AID PROCEDURES If any employee becomes injured or cut, they are to seek immediate attention Symptoms precluding an employee from handling produce are: Diarrhea Jaundice Fever Sore Throat Vomiting Exposed boils or lesions

BLOOD AND BODILY FLUIDS If there is blood or any other bodily fluids that comes in contact with cartons/products they must be immediately disposed of. Contact a supervisor for blood and bodily fluid clean-up Any affected areas will be cleaned and sanitized by a properly trained and designated official Sanitization may include but is not limited to the use of chemicals such as Hepacide Quat II by trained and designated officials

DRINKING WATER Potable water is available to all employees throughout the facilities Drinking fountains must project water away from the spout Do not share or re-use drinking cups Dispose of any used cups in the trash

CLEANING SUPPLIES All cleaning supplies are to be stored in the designated storage areas within the restrooms at all facilities Never mix cleaning supplies together Always consult the label on the cleaning supplies for directions and instructions Never use cleaning supplies for a job they were not intended for

SMOKING & EATING All employees must take breaks and lunch periods in the designated break room There is no smoking or use of tobacco products in the warehouse, coolers, or repacking areas including the designated break room. Smoking is only permitted outside in the designated smoke area All employee must wash their hands after break/lunch periods

EMPLOYEE APPEARANCE All employees should dress suitable for the job including steel toe shoes if required and any company supplied shirts, pants, jackets or hats. There are not requirements for hair nets or gloves unless required explicitly by state, federal or local regulations. You supervisor will notify you before starting any job requiring gloves, hair nets or personal protective equipment. Hanging jewelry is not permitted.

UNSANITARY SURFACES All unsanitary surfaces must be cleaned as directed by the instruction label on the cleaning supply Any product which comes in contact with an unsanitary surface or any other contaminating source must be disposed of immediately.

REVIEW Report any illness or injuries Any contaminated surface must be cleaned properly Cleaning supplies must be kept in designated areas Only use cleaning supplies for jobs they are designed for Do not mix cleaning supplies Wash hands before starting or resuming work No food, beverage or tobacco products outside of designated areas Dispose of any products coming in contact with a contamination source
