Micro-Enterprise Self-Assessment Shelby Cangelosi, 3rd

Determination Self-Motivation Self-Discipline and Grit Determination: a fixed purpose Self-Motivation: continue an activity without someone supervision

Problem solving and teamwork Problem Solving: finding solutions to difficult issues Teamwork: People working together in the interests of common cause

My strengths Support Systems

My Areas of Improvement Communications Skills, Problem Solving, Teamwork, Computer Literacy

What I Learned About Myself I have good support systems. Need to work on my problem solving and teamwork.

Things I knew about myself bad communication skills

Careers I’m Interested in Construction: I like to build things. I have some experiences. What learned from those experiences is that I’m not quite strong enough. Chef: I like to bake goods. I have been taught to cook my whole life. I’m taking a class this year to cook meals from scratch.

Careers I’m not certain about Accountant: My ability of being extremely good at math and my love for working alone being an accountant should be good fit for me. Real Estate: With my ability to understand people easily a real estate agent would be good career choice but with my weakness of communication skills the job would not be the best fit for me.

Why I believe I wouldn’t be a entrepreneur I don’t have all the abilities to be a good entrepreneur. My strengths aren’t the right ones for the job My parents are entrepreneurs. I understand all parts of the job. I not to sure I have the right mind set.

Questions What three pieces of advice would you give to students who want to become entrepreneurs? What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur? What motivates you? How do you define success?
