“Double-minded” literally means “double-souled” It is a problematic situation akin to Matthew 6:24 It is one who wavers, unstable, lacks constancy No settled principle Controlled by passion Influenced by popular opinion or cause of conduct This way or that way and ends up with no way

Stability is possible (Col. 2:5, re. 6-7; 1 Thess. 5:21) Stability is required Waves of the sea are unstable, subject to many variables False doctrine, indecision, doubt does that with us (Eph. 4:14) Doubt is a tool of the devil (Matt. 4:3, 6) Stability is possible (Col. 2:5, re. 6-7; 1 Thess. 5:21)
