Introductory Considerations The strategy for the period 2013–2022 is in line with and supports the Capacity Building action of the NSAP. The strategy is an updated continuation of the activities covered within the 2001–2012 strategy, and is proposed as a means of further strengthening Agency education and training activities in nuclear safety for the next ten-year period The Steering Committee on competence of human resources for regulatory bodies will continue to play a central role for the involvement of the Member States in the implementation and evaluation of this strategy.
