How Aberdeenshire’s waste is currently managed 120,000 households and businesses. 60,000 tonnes of recyclable waste to UK recycling companies annually. 80,000 tonnes of non-recyclable waste annually to landfill annually.

Aberdeenshire's recycling rate - 43.5%. Scottish average - 45.2%. 62.6% of the waste collected could be recycled. Right materials, right bin. Recyclable waste
